NGTC Blairsville Inducts New Members into National Technical Honor Society

North Georgia Technical College recently inducted new members into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). The NTHS is America’s highest award for excellence in career and technical education. The mission of the organization is to honor student achievements and leadership, promote educational excellence and enhance career opportunities. NTHS members will receive recognition in the form of identification on their transcripts, a special seal on their diploma and white stoles on their graduation robes.


NGTC Offers New Programs this Fall

North Georgia Technical College announces new program classes on the Clarkesville Campus for college students as well as dual enrollment students for the upcoming fall semester. Students may take prerequisite classes this summer to begin their chosen program of study this fall.

NGTC Horticulture Spring Plant Sale Features New Pesticide Techniques

Spring is in the air, which means it’s time for the North Georgia Technical College Horticulture program’s Spring Plant Sale. The semi-annual sale begins Monday, April 23, and ends on Thursday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

North Georgia Technical College will be hosting its first Take Back the Night event April 20 at 6 pm on the Clarkesville Campus in partnership with Circle of Hope and Rape Response. Take Back the Night is an international event and non-profit organization with the mission of ending sexual, relationship and domestic violence.
