  1. What is your job title? Instructor of Advanced Manufacturing Technology
  2. What campus are you based on and in what building is your office located? Currahee Campus room 405
  3. What are your major job responsibilities? Teach the principles of the skills sets needed for equipment repair in the manufacturing industry to include Industrial Wiring, Electrical Motor Controls, Industrial Mechanics, Fluid Power, Pumps and Piping, Robotics, Programmable Logic Controllers and Industrial Metalworking and Fabrication.
  4. What are some of your hobbies? Hands down spending time with my family. Going to Car Shows and Swap Meets (I am a huge hotrod and muscle car nut). Attending UGA football games.
  5. What is your favorite TV show, movie or book? TV Show - Blacklist, Movie - The Sandlot, Book - anything technical or DIY
  6. What do you like most about what you do? I enjoy advocating for skilled trades in general no matter the program. I have built my career on being well rounded, with a lot of those skills sets being built early in High School shop classes as well as the skills learned in Technical College. I try to encourage current and potential students to learn as much as possible and to take advantage of the technology and opportunities available to them.  
  7. How long have you been at NGTC? Total - 8 years, Full time Instructor - 1 year, Adjunct Instructor - 1 semester, IST Advisory Board - 5 years, IST Student - 2 years
  8. If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you choose? Nikola Tesla
  9. What would people never guess you do in your role here? Work with students on job specific resume enhancement and interviewing skills.
  10. What is one piece of advice you’d give students at NGTC? Never count someone out, always be willing to learning from anyone
