NGTC Foundation Hosts 14th Annual Memorial Bridge Party

The North Georgia Technical College Foundation Board of Trustees is planning a bridge party in memory of former Trustee Marvin Scobee. The party is scheduled for Thursday, November 2, at the Currahee Campus of NGTC. You may register for either social bridge by table group or individual or for sanctioned duplicate bridge. The luncheon prepared by students in the Culinary Program at NGTC begins at 11:30 a.m. with bridge getting underway at 12:30 p.m. The cost is a $30 and all proceeds will go to the Marvin Scobee Memorial Scholarship Fund for GED students.

NGTC Constructs New Greenhouses, Announces Fall Plant Sale Dates

Clarkesville, GA — North Georgia Technical College opened two new state-of-the-art, high efficiency greenhouses to horticulture students this semester. According to NGTC Horticulture Instructor Craig Thurmond, these new greenhouses premier as the nicest greenhouses in the state and provide a bigger space for students to grow more varieties of plants and vegetables.

NGTC Swears in Two New Members to Board of Directors

CLARKESVILLE, GA – North Georgia Technical College announces the appointment of two new board members to the 2017 Board of Directors. Rope Roberts and Kennon Yori, both of Habersham County, were sworn in as board members by the Honorable Judge Chan Caudell at the September board of directors meeting.
