Clarkesville, Ga. — North Georgia Technical College (NGTC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Bladowski as Director of Hospitality Programs and Program Coordinator for Culinary Arts. In this new role, Bladowski will provide leadership for innovative hospitality initiatives while supporting the continued growth and excellence of the college’s culinary arts program.
Beginning this semester, Bladowski will play a key role in launching NGTC’s pilot Hospitality Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) program, developed in collaboration with Signia by Hilton Atlanta and the Atlanta Children’s Foundation. The program is designed to support young adults transitioning out of foster care by offering a place to live and learn, fostering a strong sense of community, and creating a clear career pathway within Georgia’s hospitality industry.
The pilot program features hands-on educational experiences paired with comprehensive support services. Esteemed partners, including the NBA Foundation, Fostering Success, and Act, Inc., have joined the initiative with a shared commitment to eliminating barriers that may hinder participants from achieving their academic and professional goals.
“With a strong background in Business Management and Culinary Arts, and a demonstrated commitment to service, Alex is exceptionally well-prepared to guide this initiative toward success,” said NGTC President John Wilkinson. “His expertise and passion will be instrumental as we expand the program and develop a comprehensive Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management curriculum to benefit our students and the broader community.”
Bladowski’s leadership is expected to help scale the hospitality program while strengthening NGTC’s workforce development efforts across the region. His appointment marks an important step forward as the college continues to create meaningful educational opportunities that align with industry needs.
