Clarkesville, GA – North Georgia Technical College’s (NGTC) Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) – LPN to RN Bridge program has ranked second for 2026 Best Nursing Schools in Georgia by the online resource RegisteredNursing.org. This recognition places NGTC at the top of 52 associate and bachelor’s degree Registered Nursing programs in Georgia.

Both the ASN and the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to Registered Nurse (RN) Bridge programs at NGTC have successfully prepared graduates for the workforce with a 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) since 2023. The NCLEX-RN is utilized across the U.S. to assess a students’ competency for licensure. Therefore, NCLEX-RN pass rates are the primary criteria used by RegisteredNursing.org to determine a nursing program’s student preparedness, performance history, and overall quality among other programs within the state.

“North Georgia Technical College being ranked second in the state of Georgia for associate and bachelor’s degree programs reflects the strength of our Associate of Science in Nursing program, driven by highly qualified faculty and exceptional students,” said NGTC Vice President of Academic Affairs Stephanie Benson. “Their dedication to academic excellence and compassionate care continues to set a standard for nursing education across the region.”

“As Director of the Associate of Science in Nursing program at North Georgia Technical College, I am proud that our college is recognized among Georgia’s top nursing schools for consistently strong NCLEX pass rates,” said NGTC ASN Program Director Stacie Perry. “This reflects our commitment to high-quality instruction, rigorous clinical training, and dedicated student support. It’s a testament to our students’ hard work and our faculty’s dedication to excellence in nursing education. We take pride in preparing skilled, compassionate nurses who are ready to serve and strengthen healthcare in our communities.”

The Associate of Science in Nursing program is available at the Clarkesville and Blairsville campuses, while the LPN to RN Bridge program is available at the Currahee campus.
