Clarkesville, Ga. – North Georgia Technical College (NGTC) is proud to announce that Beth Hammond, Human Resources Director, has graduated from the Technical College System of Georgia’s (TCSG) 2025 Senior Leadership Academy (SLA).
The Senior Leadership Academy is a rigorous professional development program that prepares emerging leaders from Georgia’s 22 technical colleges and the system office for senior-level positions within technical education. Over the past year, participants completed advanced leadership training, executive coaching, and strategic sessions focused on higher education policy, workforce development, and innovation across the state’s technical college system.
“Beth is an exceptional leader and a valued member of our team,” said NGTC President John Wilkinson. “Her commitment to excellence and dedication to the mission of North Georgia Tech make her a tremendous representative of our college in this statewide program. We’re so proud of her accomplishment and know she will continue to make a meaningful impact on our students, faculty, and staff.”
“The Senior Leadership Academy represents TCSG’s commitment to cultivating the next generation of leaders within our colleges and system,”said TCSG Commissioner Greg Dozier.
“These graduates embody the excellence and dedication that define our system, and they are well prepared to continue driving Georgia’s reputation as the top state for talent.”
Hammond joined North Georgia Technical College in 2022 and has played a key role in leading the college’s human resources initiatives, employee engagement, and professional development efforts. Her completion of the Senior Leadership Academy reflects her continued commitment to growth, leadership, and service to both the college and the greater TCSG community.
“The Senior Leadership Academy was an incredible opportunity to learn from and collaborate with leaders across the state,” said Hammond. “I’m grateful for the experience and excited to apply what I’ve learned to help strengthen our college and continue supporting our faculty and staff.”
The Technical College System of Georgia recognized Hammond and the 2025 SLA graduates during a ceremony held at the annual TCSG Fall Leadership Conference in Savannah, Georgia.
