CLARKESVILLE, Ga. — North Georgia Technical College will host its spring commencement ceremony on Tuesday, May 12, at 3 p.m. The ceremony will take place in the new Dr. Mark A. Ivester Center for Living and Learning on the Clarkesville campus.
Approximately 150 students are expected to participate in the ceremony, celebrating the completion of their academic programs and the start of their next chapter. The service is scheduled to conclude at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Due to the event, traffic along Highway 197 is expected to be significantly impacted during the afternoon hours. Guests and community members are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow extra travel time.
Graduates will park in the Clegg and Dining Hall parking lots. Guests may park in designated parking areas throughout campus, with signage and staff available to assist with directions. Handicap parking will be available behind the Carlton Building.
