ACCUPLACER Placement Test
WHAT is the ACCUPLACER Placement Test?
North Georgia Technical College uses ACCUPLACER placement tests to identify academic skills and needs. These tests include sections on reading comprehension, writing skills, and basic math. Algebra is required for some programs. ACCUPLACER placement tests are taken on a computer; they are un-timed and testers can only use the calculator that is provided on the ACCUPLACER exam.
To request Disability Services for taking the placement test contact Kay Morgan, Special Populations and Retention Coordinator, at 706-754-7828 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Inquiries about receiving accommodations should be made well in advance of testing, as there is a request and documentation review process.
The ACCUPLACER Testing Schedule contains information about the placement test and the schedule for all 3 campuses.
