CLARKESVILLE, GA – Nine students from the Clarkesville campus of North Georgia Technical College were recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society.
The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) recognizes outstanding student achievement in career and technical education. Students selected for induction must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a strong commitment to their field of study.
To be eligible, students must maintain a minimum 3.7 grade point average and receive a recommendation from a faculty member. The eight students inducted from the Clarkesville campus exemplify the high standards and dedication required for this prestigious honor.
Students inducted and pictured below left to right include Ryan Anderson, a business technology student from Cleveland, Ga.; Zada Bell, a registered nursing student from Bowman, Ga.; Felicia Cantrell, a medical assisting student from Cleveland, Ga.; Cadence Dotson, a cosmetology student from Clayton, Ga.; Taelor Elkins, an accounting and finance student from Otto, N.C. (not pictured); Jaqueline Garcia Martin, a registered nursing student from Cornelia, Ga.; Kaylee Holbrook, a registered nursing student from Cleveland, Ga.; Amber May, a photography student from Winder, Ga.; and Elizabeth Spragg, a medical assisting student from Demorest, Ga.
“Being inducted into the National Technical Honor Society is a significant accomplishment,” said Vice President of Academic Affairs Stephanie Benson. “These students have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their studies and their future careers, and we are proud to recognize their achievements.”
Membership in NTHS provides students with opportunities for scholarships, professional development, and recognition among peers and industry leaders.
