The Mobile Clinic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and scheduling the mobile medical unit at various community partner sites, other areas where individuals experience homelessness are known to be, and special events (i.e., health fairs). The Mobile Clinic Coordinator is part of the integral mobile medical team, working closely with designated mobile staff to schedule a full range of health, medical and social services to those patients being seen through the mobile medical clinics. Areas of focus include clinical workflow and protocol development and implementation of Quality Assurance activities. This position reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services, Quality and Risk Management and works closely with the Director of Operations, and under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to, the following:
1) Clinical Programming Support: The majority of clinical staff working on the program are PRN, so the coordinator is the organization's focal point for the clinical team.
· Work with Director of Clinical Services, Quality and Risk Management and Director of Operations on all ongoing clinical activities, projects, and programs to facilitate management and continuity
· Coordinate and schedule mobile unit clinics
· Communicate schedule and program changes or adjustments to all internal and external staff
· Attend and assist in mobile medical department meetings
· Implement, support, and monitor all CLIA, HIPPA, and OSHA guidelines
· Assist with clinical updates for Mobile Clinic team as needed (topic specific, BLS, blood-borne precautions, etc.)
· Provide education and updates for internal providers and referral providers, including workflows related to clinical quality and mobile unit procedures
· Provide support for PRN clinical staff
· Maintain inventory and reconciliation of prescription medication supplies and update medical and prescription drug master inventory based on recommendations from Director and/or mobile clinic staff
· Serve as the liaison between clinical providers in the field and the Director of Clinical Services, Director of Operations, and others on the administrative team to ensure that providers are informed of both scheduling and logistics, as well as clinical priorities
· Work with the Director of Operations to schedule the mobile unit clinics and ensure proper staffing to address identified patient needs
· Work with Outreach Manager to ensure necessary advertisement and promotion of services days to clients served in that location.
· Keep MedLink's Mobile Unit Manual updated
2) Mobile Clinic Operation:
· Serve as the primary driver of the mobile unit and assist with the delivery of patient care services, management, and navigation of participants on and off the mobile unit.
· Assist with completion and maintenance of the clinic pre/post set up checklist, pre/post driving checklist and maintenance
· Obey all traffic laws
· Assist patients with getting on and off the mobile unit
· Load and unload equipment as assigned
· Support and maintain quality assurance for POC testing equipment
· Support and maintain vaccine stability through proper refrigeration procedures
Other Functions:
· Ability, competence, and confidence to drive the mobile unit as part of routine job duties
· Support MedLink's Emergency Preparedness efforts, ensuring that all policies, plans, and equipment are up to date for emergency response planning
· Attend Safety and Emergency Preparedness meetings
· Work collaboratively with the Behavioral Health Coordinator to ensure effective workflows for integrated Behavioral Health services
· Participate in MedLink trainings, retreats, and/or other required meetings
· Adhere to infection control/safety guidelines, confidentiality policies, personnel policies, rules, laws, and other regulations
· Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
Education:
· State of Georgia EMT-I or EMT-A Licensure or Associates Degree of Science in Nursing with RN Licensure required. At least 2 years of experience in clinical practice preferred.
· Valid Driver's License in the state of Georgia with clean driving record.
Experience:
· Ability, competence, and confidence to drive the mobile unit as part of routine job duties
· Clinical assessment appropriate to experience and training as well as counseling and case management
· Knowledge and familiarity with Georgia communities preferred
· Bilingual English/Spanish with proficiency speaking and writing in both languages desired.
· Have success in working in cross-cultural settings and be able to work independently, as well as have strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Previous bus/trailer/RV driving experience preferred but not required
· Excellent problem-solving and record-keeping skills.
· Ability to organize, document, and prioritize work, ability to work well with others and communicate effectively
· Computer skills at the level necessary for working efficiently in the company's practice management system, especially in the electronic medical record; Microsoft office applications, including e-mail, WORD, Excel; on-line social networking.
