Food Service Technician is responsible for maintaining all equipment at True North Energy Solutions customer locations. The Food Service Technician will work closely with all other Service Technicians, Service Manager/Dispatcher, Director of True North Operations and site personnel. Emphasis is placed on safety, consistency, teamwork, positive work attitude, excellent customer service and maintaining exceptional overall store and restaurant operating conditions. Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Service Manager.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Maintain Food Service Equipment (Fountain machines, roller grills, ovens, microwaves, ice making units, F’real Units, etc.)
- Maintain Plumbing (Bathrooms, Food Service Sinks, Water Lines, etc.)
- Maintain a safe working/shopping environment for all Clipper Petroleum, Circle M and Dealer location Customers and Site Personnel
- Maintain organized inventory in warehouse and on service truck.
- Maintain Service Vehicles (Keep Interior/Exterior Clean and Oil/Service On Time and up to date)
- Complete all jobs through maintenance service software (Ipad).
On-call Technicians (per assignment)
- Answer Emergency Phone Calls (Weekdays (Monday-Thursday) From 4:00pm to 7:30am, Weekends From 4:00pm Friday to 7:30am Monday)
- Complete all emergency jobs immediately. Non emergencies need to be relayed to Maintenance Supervisor or Assistant. Call Maintenance Supervisor with any questions/concerns.
Working Conditions
Maintenance/Service working environment involves some exposure to conditions including hot and cold temperatures, humidity, rain/snow/ice, handling of petroleum products (Gasoline, Diesel, Oil, Grease, etc.), operating machinery, extended driving time and noise. Physical demands are moderate to heavy lifting/carrying at least 50 pounds, or more (with assistance).

No degree requirements. Any equivalent of training desired, which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities. 2 years of experience desired
