Job Description: 

• Must provide excellent customer service in the ship store, on the docks, and on the phone.
• Flawless operation of rental boats, and customer owned vessels.
• Understanding of fuel spill procedures, and response to spills.
• Fuel customer boats while providing excellent customer service, when not attending to tenant boats.
• Process fuel transactions on either an iPad or point-of-sale system, when not attending to tenant boats.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Perform various tasks involving boat rental reservations such as, boat check in/out, fueling boats, helping renters dock and moor rental boats.
• Help slip tenants dock and moor their boats to the fuel dock.
• Perform various office tasks, such as filing and data entry.
• Perform daily cleaning operations of the exterior of the building, tractor shed, and work shop.
• Flawless operation of the marina’s tractor and tenants boat trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness/organization of the work shop and tractor shed.
• Understand proper techniques to the backing of trailers with a tractor.
• Flawlessly hook up and secure tenants’ trailers to the hitch of the tractor.
• Minor landscape maintenance such as mowing, weed-eating, spraying, pressure washing, and leaf blowing.
• Ability to build rapport with tenants and customers.

Desired/Required Skills: 

Education/Experience: 

• Prior use of register and cash handling is preferred.
• Ability to drive a tractor preferred.
• Experience backing a trailer preferred, if the candidate has no prior experience, they will be taught.
• Must have a valid Georgia driver’s license.
• Must be available to work May through September. Holiday and weekend hours during this time are mandatory.
• Must be available to work 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays as need arises.
• Prompt and regular attendance is required and enforced.
• Uniforms are provided by the marina; however, the candidate is required to maintain a
professional appearance.

Salary:  / Per Hour

Hours: Full Time, Part Time, Seasonal
