Automotive Collision Repair

Begin a foundation for a career in the Auto Collision Industry in under two years and gain lifelong skills for personal or professional enjoyment and fulfillment.

Highly qualified instruction with real-world experience provides focused training for students with opportunities for diagnosing and problem-solving in a variety of situations.

The program emphasizes specialized hands-on training in:

  • Sanding, priming, and painting
  • Windshield replacement
  • Estimating
  • Frame analysis and straightening techniques
  • Panel replacement
  • Tri-coats, buffing, and much more

Diploma

The Auto Collision Repair diploma program prepares students for careers in the automotive collision repair profession. Learning opportunities develop academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes either major automotive collision repair or automotive refinishing depending on the specialization the student chooses to complete. Program graduates receive an Auto Collision Repair diploma which qualifies them as major collision repair technicians or refinishing technicians.

Automotive Collision Repair Assistant 1

The Automotive Collision Repair Assistant 1 certificate program prepares students for employment as assistants to lead and master technicians in an automotive collision repair shop. Topics include work safety, hand and power tools, basic component replacement, automotive welding techniques, and mechanical and electrical systems.

Automotive Refinishing Assistant 1

The Automotive Refinishing Assistant 1 certificate program prepares students for employment as assistants to lead and master technicians in an automotive collision repair shop. Topics covered include work safety, hand and power tools, basic component repair and replacement, and trim accessories and glass replacements.

The Auto Collision Repair program may accept live-work projects on a very limited basis. Please consult with the instructor on a particular project that may be appropriate for live work.
