COVID-19 update (3/27/20):

Governor Brian Kemp issued an Executive Order yesterday stating "all TCSG colleges will remain closed for in-person instruction with limited exceptions through the rest of the Spring 2020 semester." We now will extend our online classroom instruction to the end of the semester which was previously announced yesterday as May 7. 

However, there are some limited exceptions noted by the Governor where in-person instruction may be allowed, and currently, our goal is to apply for these exceptions for our students needing lab hours. Modifications for the number of people gathered at a time in a lab is obviously one of the major hurdles we are trying to work through with the state. As soon as we have details regarding how this will work in each of our labs, our instructors will communicate that information with you. We, again, thank you for your patience as we work through numerous scenarios and make decisions that keep your best interest, academic success and well being as our top priorities. 

The college’s originally scheduled graduation will be postponed to a later date to be determined.

The Continuing Education program at North Georgia Technical College offers a broad range of affordable non-degree programs for everyone in the community with a desire to learn and have fun. We are committed to a program of public service, outreach and continuing education by making available resources for our community, workforce and for those that desire lifelong learning and development. We also offer online courses that are convenient and flexible for you to learn in the comfort of your own home. You’ll find our courses conveniently offered on both weekdays and weekends, daytime and evenings, and one-time workshops or multiple-sessions. We’re here for you!

Discovery EdVenture Tours

Join us on a day or overnight trip with EdVenture Tours! Tours include day trips as well as overnight trips to surrounding areas. Upcoming tours include Washington, DC, Biltmore Estate and Asheville, NC, a Braves game, a day trip to Historic Roswell and more! 

Driver's Education

We offer classes at all three of our campuses in Blairsville, Clarkesville and Currahee. Our upcoming classes are listed below. Course fee is $350* and includes the 30 hours of classroom instruction as well as 6 hours of drive time with an instructor.

Children's Camps

We offer a variety of children's camps during the summer months and school year! Camps include LEGO camp, drone camp and more! Class dates and information is available at the link below.

ServSafe Certification

The ServSafe course is designed for food service managers in restaurants, child care centers, adult care facilities, and school food service systems. Successful completion of the food safety and sanitation training and passing the Certification exam provides the required certification documentation accepted by the State of Georgia Health Department. The certification test will be administered at the end of class.

Paint Classes

Enjoy a fun night out for mothers, daughters, best friends, book clubs, and yes, even men and the artistically challenged! All supplies and instructions are provided for you. Multiple paint your own canvas classes are available, as well as a barn quilt class!
