The Mark

Foundation > The Mark

Thank you to everyone who has given to the campaign to make the Dr. Mark A. Ivester Center for Living and Learning a reality. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to beginning the process soon.

North Georgia Technical College received $9.6 million from the Georgia State Legislature to renovate the gymnasium on the Clarkesville Campus. The building will become the Dr. Mark A. Ivester Center for Living and Learning (“The Mark”) in memory of our former college president. As was his vision, this facility will once again become the focal point for student activities and community events for generations to come.

The North Georgia Technical College Foundation Board of Trustees is proud to have raised $250,000 for equipment, materials, and supplies not included in the renovation funds.  We hope you will take a moment and watch the video to learn more about this exciting project.
