Do you enjoy being busy with a variety of tasks? After training, working with your administrative partner, shared responsibilities will include:

· Answering the phone, addressing questions, directing calls.

· Scheduling support: Coordinating a smooth-flowing day for Dr. Kim and our dental hygienists. If you enjoy putting a puzzle together, you’ll enjoy our scheduling system!

· Patient “check-in” procedures; dishing out warm hospitality while updating registration and notifying the clinical team of the patient’s arrival.

· Onboarding new patients, sharing first visit information and providing information to turn an ordinary call into an exceptionally positive patient experience.

· Working closely with all team members, this position is also crossed-trained to help in the back office (clinical area) during busy or unexpectedly busy times! Are you interested in “light” cross-training in our clinical area? Lend your full-time, fabulous co-worker assistant a helping hand with instrument breakdown, seating a patient, room preparation, sterilization with open avenues to learn more!

8. Preference to be “busy all the time” with excellent time management skills that help you gauge the best use of your time up front or in the back.

9. Must like teeth and share our mission to help patients improve their oral health!

10. Initiative to quickly learn dental system and software that is industry specific.

Education/Experience: 

Do you need prior dental experience to apply? Absolutely NOT! Dr. Kim knows that a great team is the result of hiring the right people. The “right-fit” team member may or may not have prior dental experience, so apply if this position seems well suited to you! Your education and work experiences may be an excellent foundation to learn the technical aspects of working in a dental office. If you have a passion to serve others and give them a reason to never stop smiling, you’ll catch onto our software, processes, terminology and understanding of dental procedures so fast… you’ll smile too. Individuals with backgrounds in veterinary, medical front desk, physical therapy assistant, medical assisting, studies in kinesiology, biology, healthcare administration exercise science, restaurant/service, banking, office administration…. have fabulous foundation skills to learn the fun, interesting, engaging field of dentistry.
