Clarkesville, GA – For the fifth consecutive year, North Georgia Technical College (NGTC) has earned the No. 1 ranking as Best Medical Assistant Program in Georgia by the online resource Medical Assistant Advice.

This recognition places NGTC at the top of 41 Medical Assisting programs in Georgia and considers graduation rate, tuition price, admission rate, retention rate, number of students enrolled and editorial staff ratings to determine the top programs.

Medical Assistant Advice has served medical assisting students and professionals since 2012 and offers current information regarding education and career statistics to help guide students.

“We are thrilled to announce that our Medical Assisting program has once again been ranked No. 1 in the state for the fifth consecutive year,” said NGTC Vice President of Academic Affairs Mindy Glander. “We attribute this success to the dedicated faculty and hardworking students, who have made this achievement possible. Their commitment to excellence and passion for the medical field is truly inspiring. This accomplishment is a testament to the quality of education and training our program provides, and we are proud to be a leader in the healthcare industry. We look forward to continuing this success and making a positive impact in the lives of our students, patients, and communities.”

“This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty, who continue to provide our students with the highest quality education and training in the field of healthcare,” said NGTC Dean of Academic Affairs Christy Bivins. “Being NGTC Medical Assisting graduates themselves, our faculty are committed to ensuring their graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their careers and make a positive impact in the lives of others.”

“The NGTC Medical Assisting program is proud to be ranked No. 1 for the fifth year in a row by medicalassistantadvice.com,” said NGTC Health Sciences Department Chair and Medical Assisting Program Director/Instructor Stacie Bohannon. “We offer Medical Assisting on all three campuses and each instructor is a graduate of our program. We know how hard our students work to be successful, and we do our best to give them the tools to make that possible. We are #1 because we have the best students.”
