Job Description: 

Performs shipping, receiving, inspection, handling & inventory procedures at various areas to palletize, package & ship components for modular building products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  1. Performs various shipping, receiving, & inspection functions.
  2. MUST be able to read a standard tape measure for the inspection of receiving & final shipment of materials to Panel Built’s requirements.
  3. Pulls manufactured products from stored locations based on approved work orders and shipping documents.
  4. Prepares pallets, skids & custom build crates per shipping needs.
  5. Prepares finished parts for shipping ensuring packaging, labels and information is correctly recorded on Bill of Lading.
  6. Utilizes plant equipment (lift truck, power tools, Banding tools, etc) as directed by shipping supervisor.
  7. Provides the final checking and validation of all Bill of Materiel (BoM) scheduled for shipping to customer for accuracy of order, shipping data and proper skid/pallet loading and security of product.
  8. Must be skilled in Lift Truck Operations to load/off load various packaged materials.
  9. Must have a valid Drivers License and insurable for PBI vehicle operations.
  10. Strong team player.
  11. Responsible for housekeeping in shipping area.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple Instructions, short correspondence and memos in the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weights and   measurements.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions.
Ability to discern when other parties need to be involved in validating priorities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing this job, employee is required to stand for extended periods of time, use both hands with dexterity, reach with both arms extended, stoop, kneel and crouch. Employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. Education/Experience: 

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience of 3-5 years in the construction industry would be required to perform this level of trade.
