Job Description: 

Environmental Compliance Inspector is responsible for maintaining environmental compliance at True North Energy Solutions customer locations. The inspector will work closely with all other service technicians, Service Manager, and the Environmental Compliance Manager. Emphasis is placed on safety, consistency, teamwork, positive work attitude, and excellent customer service. Environmental Compliance Inspector reports directly to the Service Manager.

Essential Functions of the Job

  • Perform monthly/annual environmental inspections and complete log
  • Review UST and operator A/B/C certificates on site
  • Review Automatic Tank Gauge onsite
  • Inspect containment sumps/spill buckets and open lids
  • Responsible for assisting with onsite EPD site inspections and delivery of documents to EPD officer
  • Report any deficiency on inspection log along with photos to the Environmental Compliance Manager
  • Service and install petroleum equipment, including but not limited to: Fuel Dispensers, Automatic Tank Gauge Systems, Point of Sale Systems, Fuel tank components
  • Maintain organized inventory on service truck
  • Maintain Service Vehicles (Keep Interior/Exterior Clean and Oil/Service On Time and up to date)

Working Conditions

Maintenance/Service working environment involves some exposure to conditions including hot and cold temperatures, humidity, rain/snow/ice, handling of petroleum products (Gasoline, Diesel, Oil, Grease, etc.), operating machinery, extended driving time and noise. Physical demands are moderate to heavy lifting/carrying at least 50 pounds, or more (with assistance).

Education/Experience: 

No degree requirements. Any equivalent of training desired, which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities. 2 years of experience desired

Salary: {Salary:18} / Per Hour

Hours: Full Time
