Job Description: 

Busy Walk-in Clinic looking for an outgoing, organized, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a Full-Time Position, schedule details available in highlights of position.

Job Responsibilities Include, but not limited to: Providing immediate assistance to Clinic Providers—(Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners), this includes Collecting and recording medical history, complaints, and vital signs in EMR system, initiating basic laboratory tests specific to patient symptoms, administering injections, drug-screen collection and processing, sterilizing medical instruments, monitoring inventory and supplies, preparing patients for examination and or surgical procedures, and assisting the physician during exams.

Other miscellaneous responsibilities include: Notifying patients of laboratory and radiology results, scheduling referrals, maintaining a clean and presentable work/lab area, sterilizing and preparing exam rooms, and willingness to assist with other miscellaneous office tasks as directed.

Schedule Flexibility : Opt. 1) 1 Week On, 1 Week Off Rotations -or- Opt. 2) a 2-2-3 Rotation (Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days, etc.)

Business Hours Include:

Monday-Friday: 8am-7pm

Saturday: 8am-4pm

Sunday: 10-4pm

*Closed Easter Sunday & Christmas Day.

*Most other National Holidays eligible for Holiday Pay (Time and a half) on scheduled, working days.

Desired/Required Skills: 

- Preferred 1+ year(s) experience working in medical setting and knowledge of EMR.

- Medical Assistant Certification
