Job Title: Lead Electrician - 1st Shift

**$2,500 sign on bonus**

The primary responsibilities of the day shift working Lead Electrician will be to train and instruct the crew to install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment by performing the following duties:

  • Be prepared to be productive at the start of every shift along with having your tools, information and materials ready.
  • 5S - Sort, Set and Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain.
  • Apply knowledge of all types of electrical conduit so as to measure, cut, bend, tread, assemble and install.
  • Familiarity with 120/240 single phase, 120/240V delta 3 phase, 120/208V 3 phase, and 277/480V 3 phase systems.
  • Splice wires and/or terminate wires to lighting, power and control equipment.
  • Connect power cables to equipment.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Being a champion for safety and quality.

Desired/Required Skills: 

  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints.
  • Effective oral and written communications.
  • Must be able to work Mon-Fri 6:00am - 4:30pm and overtime, as needed.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).

Education/Experience: 

High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years related electrical experience.
